Usb loader gx

I have a black Wii with 4.3u. I went through the tutorials from a dude called hightech man on youtube. everything seemed fine i have homebrew and usb loader gx on my wii menu. I bought an external harddrive that i know is working on wii for backup games. I used wbfs manager formatted my WD (my passport drive) with wbfs loaded some games on to the Hd from iso. Plugged the Hd to wii start the usb gx loader screen goes black than restarts to the wii menu screen.

Any suggestions.
